Mr. Minton Jr. founded the firm in February of 1988. Prior to forming Minton Investment Management, Mr. Minton Jr. was President of Minton/Newbold's Capital Management (MNCM) of Philadelphia, a firm he established in 1981 to specialize in fixed income portfolio management. He left MNCM in order to recreate an organization that would once again reflect his philosophy of specialization and service to the institutional investment community. Before MNCM, Mr. Minton Jr. began his career in 1969 at Fidelity Bank, also in Philadelphia, where he created a nationally recognized bond management group and served as Chief Institutional Investment Officer. He is a graduate of Princeton University with a degree in economics.
